James Edward Crider
James Edward Crider, age 85, of Marshfield, Missouri, formerly of Wheaton, Missouri, passed away at 11:15 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017, at the Marshfield Care Center in Marshfield. He was born April 15, 1932, in Wheaton, Missouri, the son of the late Charlie McKinley and Zelpha Rae (Hyden) Crider.
James was a 1950 graduate of Wheaton High School, in Wheaton, Missouri and was a farmer.
On January 4, 1958, he married Bonnie M. Garrison, in Miami, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on February 3, 2003.
He is survived by his two daughters, Sheila Crider of Pea Ridge, Arkansas and Denise Cunningham and her boyfriend, Jimmy Jones, of Exeter, Missouri; two brothers, Billy Joe Crider and his wife, Mary, of Carl Junction, Missouri and Les Crider and his wife, Kitty, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; one sister, Liz Hunt of Lenexa, Kansas and two granddaughters, Amy Cunningham and Zanna Jones.
His parents, Charlie and Zelpha, wife, Bonnie, daughter, Bonita Mae, brother, Charlie Crider and brother-in-law, Bob Hunt, preceded him in death.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at the Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton, Missouri.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wheaton Historical Society or the Muncie Chapel Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
